I understand the issue. Are you trying to remove the account from Outlook on your Windows profile only, not delete the real email address?
If the account is a duplicate or empty entry, open Outlook, go to File, Account Settings, Account Settings, select the unwanted account, then select Remove. If Outlook will not remove it, close Outlook, open Control Panel, open Mail, select Show Profiles, open your profile, select Email Accounts, highlight the duplicate account, then select Remove.
