May I ask if you're using a personal account like @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com or a work/school account like @edi.university.com.
You can do a quick test by going to: https://onenote.com or https://office.com and log in. If it works there but not in desktop apps, it’s almost certainly a cached credential issue.
