Brug af New Outlook i Windows til administration af personlige mails, kalender og kontakter
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. I will do my best to help you sort this out.
Before we proceed, could you confirm a few details for me?
- Are you using the Outlook desktop app (Office/Outlook 2016/2019/365) or Outlook on the web?
Were your contacts tied to an Outlook.com/Exchange account, or stored locally in a PST file?
- Do you see the contacts missing on all devices like phone, web, and PC, or just one?
Have you recently changed your account settings, profile, or reinstalled Outlook?
Do you have a backup PST/OST file or exported contacts?
In the meantime, here are steps you can try:
For the Outlook desktop app
Switch to People view and check if another contacts folder is available.
Go to File > Account Settings > Address Books and confirm your contacts folder is listed.
If you recreated your profile, try reopening the old PST/OST file via File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File.
For Outlook.com or Exchange
Sign in at https://outlook.live.com/people/ to check if your contacts appear there.
- Look under Deleted Items or use the Recover Deleted Items option.
You can also check this article for reference. Restore or recover a deleted contact in Outlook
If contacts are still missing
- Restore from a PST backup if available.
- For work/school accounts, contact your IT admin for server recovery.
This way, we can quickly determine whether your contacts are still recoverable and get them back into Outlook.
