En serie af Microsoft-produkter, der gør det muligt for brugere at indfange, organisere og genbruge noter elektronisk.
Hello Bettina. The reason you are running into the read-only issue is that Microsoft is moving away from the legacy OneNote for Windows 10 (UWP) app which will become completely unsupported and read only after October 14, 2025.
You need to be able to fully sync your notebooks to OneDrive from the old app in order to continue editing them in the new OneNote app. Simply open OneNote for Windows 10, right click on each notebook, and use "Sync This Notebook" or "Sync All," so you have a copy on the cloud. Then, open the new OneNote app (it should have been installed from the Microsoft Store), sign in with the same Microsoft account and open the notebook from the same location in OneDrive, not a manually placed folder.
If the notebook still opens read-only, there's a good chance it saved locally or you exported it inadvertently. In that case, in the new OneNote, you can select File > Open Backups to find editable versions of the notebook you want to work with.
