How to get rid of Gamebar / disable on startup Windows 11?

I've tried a few different guides without luck. It seems Microsoft changed the way the app works/installs, so I can't disable it via the Settings/apps disable running in background method.

Is there a way to preferably disable (or remove) it without powershell?

Hi there! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community.

With regards to disabling the gamebar from the startup of your Windows 11, have you tried disabling it using the taskmanager? You can also disable it from there without using powershell.

You may try the steps below:

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
    2. Go to the Startup apps tab.
    3. Look for:
      • Xbox App Services
      • Xbox Game Bar
      • Gaming Services Right-click → Disable on each.

You can also try disabling it from the settings of your Windows 11 following:

    1. In Settings, go to Apps → Installed apps.
    2. Find Xbox Game Bar.
    3. Click the three dots → Advanced options.
    4. Under Background apps permissions, set to Never.
    5. Scroll down and click Terminate to stop it immediately.

I hope this works for you! Don't hesitate to post back if you have other questions.
