OneDrive folder problem

I have a problem with my folder, where suddenly a large amount of folders are moved from my OneDrive to another folder called 'Modified Files', which is really frustrating. Can this be undone for the future?

    I have tried now to shorten some file paths, and discovered that the file paths that were shortened - not by alot - would not be moved back to 'changed files' folder that OneDrive seems to create. This confirms the suspicion that it is the file path that is the problem.

    Would it be possible for the eventual extension of allowed file path, chanching it from the 400 characters on MacOS?
