Cannot login to a functional account due to 2FA problems.

I need to help with another MS account where I know the username, I know the password, the services work, MS is billing me, but I cant sign in; MS systems say different things at different places. Sometimes it shows Im signed in (yet I cannot access it), sometimes they don't recognise the user name...

The sign in problem is I have a 2FA set up, but this account is not connected to my authenticator app in my phone (I guess it hasnt translated when I changed my phones); I see the account in the Auth. App, but Im not getting any codes and cant connect the app to the account somehow. Spent a full working day on this already being trapped in the MS "seven circles of hell never ending catch 22 like loops".

Díky, se supportem jsem se pokoušel spojit, ale neúspěšně. Každopádně jsem teď našel zařízení, na kterém byl TOTP Authenticator, který propojený s tímhle účtem zůstal, takže vyřešeno.

    Ahoj Tomasi,

    nemas v uctu jine MFA metody (SMS, volani, aternativni mail, 25znakovy recovery code...)?

    Pokud pouzivas autentikator, je potreba nejprve nainstalovat na / pridat novy telefon a az pak se zbavit stareho. Jinak jsi ve stavu "koupil jsem si novy zamek, ale uz nemam klic ke staremu, abych jej mohl vymenit za novy").
