Hi,

when somebody makes a reservation through Microsoft Bookings page, the reserved and confirmed time slot is afterwards still being shown.

  1. Fix Synchronization and Settings (Most Common Causes)
  • Verify Staff Availability: In Staff settings, ensure the check box "Events on Microsoft 365 calendar affect availability" is selected.
  • Toggle Availability Sync: Uncheck "Events on Microsoft 365 calendar affect availability," save, and then check it again to force a sync refresh.
  • Ensure "Bookable when staff are free": In the Booking Page settings, check that General availability is set to "Bookable when staff are free" rather than "Not bookable".
  • Check Service-Specific Availability: Go to Services, edit the specific service, and under Availability, ensure it is set to "Bookable when staff are free" and not a "Custom hours" setting that overrides your general availability.

2. Time Zone and Scheduling Policy Issues

  • Correct Time Zones: Mismatched time zones between the Bookings calendar and the staff member's Outlook calendar can cause issues. Go to Booking Page > Region and language and ensure the correct time zone is set.
  • Check Minimum Lead Time: If the "Minimum lead time" in the service settings is set to 24 hours,, Bookings may show availability that is restricted for the next 24 hours.
  • Buffer Times: If you have set large buffer times (before/after) in the Scheduling Policy, they can interfere with expected availability.

Did everything from this list and the issue is still ongoing. I need somebody from Microsoft to look directly into my set up please.

I noticed that you’re using English in your posts although this is a Czech forum so I’ll continue in English so my answer is as clear and helpful as possible. If you’d prefer me to switch to Czech, just let me know and I’ll gladly do so.

    Hi @Sony Vu Hong

Regarding your issue, the behavior you’re seeing is related to how the service is set up in Microsoft Bookings. The service is currently configured to allow more than one attendee per time slot. When this setting is enabled, Bookings will continue to display the same time slot on the booking page even after one person has booked it, until the maximum number of attendees for that slot is reached.

I also tested this by setting the Maximum number of attendees to 3. After three bookings were made, the time slot was no longer displayed on the booking page.

If the goal is to allow only a single booking per time slot and prevent the time from remaining visible after booking, you may try creating a new service with Maximum number of attendees set to 1.

Hope that clears thing up and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
