Hello Ahmad,
This is April, I'll be happy to assist you. Sorry to hear that you're having issue with Saudi Arabia keyboard. Let me help you out.
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Based on the description you provided, it seems that the Saudi Arabia keyboard keeps re-appearing even after you remove it. This issue is common in Windows 11 when certain languages or regions are set by default, or when language settings are being synced through your Microsoft account.
Here are some steps to try and permanently remove that Saudi Arabia keyboard:
- Check your Windows Display Language and Regional Settings
- Go to Settings and navigate to Time & language > Language & region.
- Under Preferred languages, if you see Arabic (Saudi Arabia) or similar, click on it and select Remove.
- Check the Regional format and set it to your desired region (such as United States)
- Remove the Keyboard Layout via Advanced Keyboard Settings
- Go to Settings > Time language > Typing > Advanced keyboard settings
- Under Override for default input method, Choose your preferred keyboard layout (such as English (United States) - US)
- toggle off "Let me use a different input for each app window" if it's on.
- Turn Off Language Sync (if using a Microsoft Account)
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Windows backup
- Under Remember my language preferences, switch off "Remember my preferences".
- Delete Any Remaining Language Packs Using PowerShell
- Press Win + X and select Windows Terminal (Admin)
- Run this command to see installed language packs:
Get-WinUserLanguageList
- If Arabic (Saudi Arabia) appears in the list, remove it by running:
$LangList = Get-WinUserLanguageList
$LangList.RemoveAll({$_.LanguageTag -eq "ar-SA"})
Set-WinUserLanguageList $LangList -Force
Try those steps and restart your PC.
I hope this helps. If you need further assistance you can reply to this message. We’re here to help, and we appreciate your continued trust in us.
Thank you,
April P.
