A problem with file extensions that affects Microsoft Office and file saving.

I have a problem with file extensions. I have a Windows link on OneDrive and all the file extensions on my device have changed to OneDrive. This has started to cause me a problem. For example, sometimes when I am working on Word, the file name suddenly changes to numbers, and if I close it, it disappears!!
