I just discovered that I have 4000+ emails in my "sent" folder. How can I select emails to delete as a group without having to delete each one individually

You can click to select the first e-mail that you want to delete and then scroll down in the list of e-mails and hold Shift as you click the last e-mail. Outlook for Windows will select all the e-mails in the range. You can then delete them with the Del key.
