My Microsoft Rewards account was temporarily restricted and I'm not sure why.

I have a Microsoft Rewards account with around 6500 points on it, and I've been wanting to redeem a Roblox Gift card for 400 Robux and 6000 points. I had a banner above my Microsoft Rewards dashboard and I don't remember what it said exactly, but it explained that unusual activity on my account could limit my ability to earn points. I thought of it as a warning but when I went to redeem my gift card I got an error that said my account has been temporarily restricted. I'm not sure why because I don't think I have crossed any guidelines, but I started this account around a year or 2 ago. I stopped using it for quite a while until recently this month or last month when I began again. There were maybe a few times in the middle when I logged on but other than that completely offline. I'm not sure if maybe that's what's causing this but if my account was brought back to normal and I was able to redeem points again that would be great.

PS: The banner is now gone, so I thought I might be able to redeem now but I still get the error. I also search using Bing as my main search engine if that makes a difference. I've also contacted customer support twice with no reply so I thought I'd shoot my shot here.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Based on your description, your only option is to contact Microsoft Rewards Support, as they are the only ones who are capable of investigating this case and lifting Reward account suspensions/restrictions.

Since you mentioned that you were able to contact them twice already, it may take a while for them to respond, at least weeks or months, due to the high volume of support requests they receive daily.

Please check your email inbox, junk, and spam folders from time to time.

If they haven't replied after a month, you may try to contact them again for a follow-up on your case:

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

Best regards,

Darhyl
