Every time I turned on my computer there is "no display" and keyboard's lights went on but instantly turned off and sometimes randomly goes on and off again (though normally it is still on even after my computer is shutted off) even though headphones' lights and RGB are on, and the fans are moving? What do I do to fix it?

Thank you for your response.

In this situation, I’m afraid there’s no alternative but to seek the assistance of a professional computer repair technician. Given the nature of the issue, all signs point to a hardware malfunction, which requires expert diagnosis and repair. Attempting to troubleshoot further without the right tools or expertise may not only be ineffective but could also risk causing further damage. I strongly recommend reaching out to a qualified technician as soon as possible to get the issue properly assessed and resolved.

Let's start with some simple items.

It is the monitor itself that shows "no signal" being received from the computer. Can you connect the monitor to a different laptop or desktop, to confirm that the monitor is capable of receiving input?

Does your monitor have multiple inputs (VGA? DVI? HDMI? DisplayPort?). Have you used the OSD (On Screen Display) buttons on the edge of the monitor to cycle through each of those inputs, to find an "active" signal?

Turn the computer on, then press the "CAPS LOCK" or "NUM LOCK" keys on the keyboard. Most keyboards will have a lamp that lights up when you press either of these keys. If not, then the keyboard is not getting any electrical power from your computer.

If you have an external monitor attached to your desktop computer, try replacing the cable that connects the monitor to your computer.

    Also, try replacing the monitor.

If you put your cheek near any of the air-exhaust areas on your computer, do you feel any warm air being pushed-out by the fans inside the computer (power-supply and/or extra fans)?

When you turn your computer on, do you hear the fans spinning?

Try removing the power-cord from your computer, and then press the on/off button for a few seconds, to completely "drain" any residual electrical power. Then reconnect the power-cord, and try again.

    Hi,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

Typically no display while the computer is ON, is a hardware problem.

To see if there is any improvement, try simplifying your configuration by removing everything except the keyboard, mouse, and display.

Next, if you are proficient enough, consider removing and reseating RAM sticks as well. If there are multiple sticks, try a single RAM and see if the PC starts.

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
