You generally have to use Print Preview and adjust the margins to try to fit it to a page. Look at Page setup as part of Print Preview and see it there is the option to Fit to one page.
Otherwise your spreadsheet is too big to fit one page.

I have an excel file that I was trying to recreate but I can't get it all on one page. I tried to convert the PDF to excel but that didn't work.

It worked fine, I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.
Thanks

To fit into one page while printing, see the following settings in the screenshot.
Open the Excel file you want to print.
Go to the Page Layout tab on the ribbon.
Click on Page Setup (small arrow in the bottom-right corner of the "Page Setup" group).
In the Page Setup dialog box, go to the Page tab.
Under Scaling, select Fit to: and set the values to "1 page(s) wide by 1 page(s) tall."
Click OK to apply.
Preview the print layout by going to File > Print and ensure the sheet fits on one page.
Make any adjustments if necessary, such as margins or scaling options, before printing.
Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
