Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this problem. I understand how important recovering your account is to you.

If you tried to sign in and received a message that your account is blocked, first try the Microsoft account sign-in helper tool here, which will tell you what you need to do to recover your account.

Microsoft account sign-in helper

If you are still having issues, you can then try the Account recovery form here to recover your account:-

https://account.live.com/acsr

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

Note -

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, which is why the Account Recovery process is fully an automated process with no human influence. Even Microsoft Support cannot directly grant you access to your account; they will direct you back to the Account Recovery pages linked above. This is to help ensure that your personal information remains private and is not shared with anyone.

Direct contact with a human support agent for Outlook.com and Microsoft accounts is done through the official support and recovery flows. Use the following steps, in order, from a device and location normally used to sign in.

    1. Start with the Sign-in Helper
      • Go to the Sign-in Helper: Sign-in Helper.
      • Follow the prompts to unblock the account or recover access.
      • If the account is temporarily blocked due to unusual activity, this flow is the primary way to remove the block.
    2. If the account is blocked or cannot be unblocked
      • If unblocking fails or the account remains blocked, follow the guidance under If you can't unblock your account and go to When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account from the article here: Unblock my Outlook.com account.
      • This path helps reset the password and includes a link to contact support if standard reset does not work.
    3. If the username/password are not accepted
      • Use the Recover your account flow: Recover your account as described in My username and password have stopped working.
      • Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in.
      • Choose where to receive a security code, enter the code, then set a new password.
      • If the message “We couldn't find an account with that username” appears, use any other alias or phone number on the account, or contact support via the Contact support button in that article.
    4. If standard reset and verification options fail
      • Use the Sign-in Helper tool first as recommended in Help with the Microsoft account recovery form: Sign-in Helper.
      • If still unable to sign in and two-step verification is not enabled, fill out the Microsoft account recovery form from that article, using a working email address that can receive responses about the case.
      • If two-step verification is enabled and none of the verification methods are available, support agents cannot bypass 2FA or send manual reset links; recovery is limited to the available verification methods.
    5. Contact Outlook.com/Microsoft account support (human assistance)
      • For Outlook.com-specific help, including when locked out or blocked, use the support options described under Still need help? in the Outlook.com article:
        • In Outlook.com (when able to sign in), select Help on the menu bar, enter the issue, then scroll to Still need help? and select Yes to reach a support agent.
        • If sign-in is not possible, use the “If you can't sign in” link from the same section to reach account support.
      • For broader Microsoft account and subscription issues, use Account & Billing Help from the same section.
    6. If locked out due to too many attempts
      • If there have been many failed sign-in or recovery attempts, the account may be temporarily locked for security.
      • Wait at least 24 hours without further attempts before trying again, then use the Sign-in Helper or account recovery form from a familiar device and network.

These are the only supported ways to both regain access and reach a human support advocate for Outlook.com and Microsoft accounts.
