Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Since this is an @att.net account, the most likely cause is that Outlook kept the old sign-in token after your password change. In classic Outlook, some Yahoo/AT&T-type accounts can stop syncing with 0x800CCC0E after a password change because Outlook does not immediately prompt for new credentials; sometimes the prompt appears after about 1 hour, but you can force it by closing Outlook, opening Credential Manager from the search in the task bar then on Windows Credentials, removing the MicrosoftOffice16_Data:OAUTH2 entries for the affected account, and then reopening Outlook so it asks you to sign in again.
