Email address recovery after change

I had previously changed my email address due to extreme amount of spams and hacking attempts (data leaks). I later found out I had an apple id created using the old email address and I have no way to log into the apple id now as the verification is getting sent to the now-removed email address.

Is there a way to get the old email address back?

Thanks for any help!

Hi,

I’ll be honest with you. If you changed your alias that ends in @hotmail, @outlook, @live, or @msn to a new one and deleted the old one, Microsoft has a policy that prevents it from being added back. Unfortunately, it is permanently lost.

For more details, please see the "Remove an email address" section here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/add-or-remove-an-email-alias-in-outlook-com-459b1989-356d-40fa-a689-8f285b13f1f2
