I have created an Artifact Signing Account and started identity validation for organisation. Email validation using Entra Verified IDs fails with "Card missing" error when trying to share ID with Azure Artifact Signing. But I cannot edit or cancel the current identity validation request as the delete button is disabled.

Originally in January I was unable to delete my current identity request or create a new one while one was in progress. However later in February it appeared that I was able to perform both those actions.
I wasn't able to get my Verified Employee Verified ID to work when sharing with Azure Artifact Signing.
So instead I followed the alternative option which used AU10TIX to verify my identity, which added another Verified ID (Government Issued ID by AU10TIX) into my Authenticator App. I was able to share this Verified ID with Azure Artifact Signing to complete the Identity Verification process.

As per Microsoft in this situation you must initiate a new identity validation request. This also applies to any changes you make for identity validation.
