Please help. My account has been hacked and I didn't even know it still existed. It was from a skype account that I started around 2008 and I hadn't used it for a long time. No idea the information on there and can't sign in to just delete it. I tried contacting support, but it is an endless circle of bots that say contact support. Please help!!!

Hi Chad Judson,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I am very sorry that you are going through this. Recovering an account, especially one that was created many years ago, can be extremely frustrating, particularly when the automated system keeps sending you in circles. Below are the ways you can contact support for your situation:

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.

  • Visit: Contact – Microsoft Support
  • Search for “Account Recovery” in the search box.
  • Click “Get Help” and press Enter.
  • Sign in with another Microsoft account (create one if needed) to proceed.
  • Navigate to “Contact Support.”
  • For product or service, select “Other Products.”
  • For category, choose “Manage Account Security.”
  • Look for and select “Chat with a support agent in your web browser” or a similar callback option.
  • Clearly explain your situation.

Thank you for your understanding.
