I see discussion of "calls" made from within Teams...like Skype calls...but I don't see the dial pad as mentioned. I understood Teams Basic came with a limited number and duration of calls.

So how do I set that up?

Hello,

In order to get the call tab, and dial pad, you must be on Teams business tier license, plus the Teams phone with calling plan add on license. If you are on a personal account, you will not see that, with one sort-of exception, that is, if you have remaining Skype credits, you can make calls via:

  1. Via the Skype Web Portal: https://calling.web.skype.com (Web portal will stay after Skype app goes away).
  2. A Skype Dial Pad will be added to Teams app. When you click on the dial pad, it will launch the Skype web portal for you. The calls will not be operated from within Teams. On your computer, click on the three dots on the upper right to find it, on phones, click on your user profile icon to find it. =========

Once your credits run out, you will need Teams business license + Teams phone with calling plan in order to call phone number domestic or international.
