How do I transfer my data from my compromised/stolen Microsoft Account to a fresh one?

I recently got my Microsoft account (with Minecraft on it) stolen and compromised.

I have more than enough proof (like transactions and emails) that the account is mine. I contacted support through Xbox live chat, and they sent an escalation email to my new MS account email.

My friend also had gone through this, but with the escalation, they agreed on the proof that it has indeed been hacked, and he owns the account, but they suspended it.

I do not want to go down this path and make my data unrecoverable. The data and products on that account are mine, and I have the right to keep them.

I even have the email of the person who has stolen my account, and they wont reply to me.
(Xbox App shows the email when I open it, asking me to sign in again)

How can I get the account data of my stolen account transferred to a fresh account (like this one I'm using) to get access back to all my data? (including my minecraft account)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

The only way to recover a hacked account is through the official Microsoft troubleshooter guide:

https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

If it doesn't work, and if the email address has been replaced by the hacker, I'm afraid there is no other working method to recover the Microsoft account, and Microsoft Support cannot help either.

However, since you mentioned that you were able to contact Support and sent you an escalation, your only option is to wait for their instructions and results. "I contacted support through Xbox live chat, and they sent an escalation email to my new MS account email."

If you haven't received any response from them after 72 hours, you can try contacting them again for a follow-up on your case.

If they have confirmed that the information is not enough or an escalation is no longer possible, they may permanently suspend your account to prevent the hacker from using it, just like what happened to your friend "it has indeed been hacked, and he owns the account, but they suspended it.".

Thank you for your kindness and understanding.

Best regards,

Darhyl
