Accidentally deleted microsoft store using CCleaner

I accidentally deleted MS store while using CCleaner. I tried reinstalling with all of the methods and somehow PowerShell installed it. I can open it, search for apps but I cannot open app page or install any of the apps. If some app appears with download button and I press it, the app just stuck on starting download.

Any fixes?

Thanks for your time and answers,

Tomas

Thank you for the confirmation. It most likely means that CCleaner completely cleared the package file.

I would suggest next to do an in-place repair install.

Please download Media Creation tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Then, please run it, choose Upgrade this PC now.

Select Keep personal files and apps.

This will reinstall all default apps, including Microsoft Store, without wiping your files.

Please make sure to keep personal files.

    Thank you for the confirmation. Hmm, that would mean that it's corrupted. Let's remove, and reinstall.

    In powershell again, this should remove the corrupted copy

    Get-AppxPackage *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage

    Then, please run this command to reinstall it from Microsoft’s system image:

    Add-AppxPackage -register "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode

    Then, please restart.

    Please keep me updated.

    Hello there! I am Charity. I'm glad to help you today!

    Thank you for the information. Let's try to re-register the Store.

    Press Win + S and type powershell.

    Right-click Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

    (You should see “Administrator: Windows PowerShell” in the window title.)

    Copy and paste this into the PowerShell window, then press Enter:

    Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {
        Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppxManifest.xml"
    }

    Then, please restart and test again.

    Please let me know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,

    Charity
