I have 2 printers on a print server, I was able to add them to universal print, but cannot print in color. They print in color for staff that aren't using Universal Print yet. Any ideas?

Dear Kat Steele,

This issue may be related to how Universal Print handles printer capabilities during driver mapping. In some cases, the color printing option is disabled if the Universal Print connector or driver defaults to monochrome. We recommend checking the printer’s configuration in the Universal Print portal and ensuring that the color capability is enabled under printer properties.

Additionally, verify that the Universal Print driver installed on client devices supports color output. If the driver is set to “Auto Detect” or defaults to grayscale, manually switching the device type to “Color” in the printer’s settings may resolve the issue.

I hope this helps. Just kindly tick Accept Answer that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
