Dear Tahir Malik,

This issue has been reported by other users and is often related to display driver compatibility following recent updates.

We recommend opening Device Manager, expanding the Monitors section, and updating or reinstalling the display driver. In some cases, disabling and re-enabling the monitor device can help restore brightness controls. You may also want to check for any pending optional updates under Settings > Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates.

I hope this helps. Just kindly tick Accept Answer that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Domic Vo

I've tried a couple of things, and what helped me in the end was to update a pending system firmware update that was blocked because I was on battery power. This is not obvious because that only became apparent when I went to the Device Manager.
