Additional meeting and call-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Dear @Viani Stephanie,
It's wonderful news that the issue has been resolved. I sincerely apologize for any miscommunication earlier, and I truly appreciate your effort in finding a resolution. I believe that many users may encounter similar issue, and your case could serve as a valuable reference for them. Therefore, I would make a brief summary of this post so that other forum members could easily find useful information here:
Issue Description:
You were unable to view attendance reports for past meetings in Microsoft Teams, specifically for an individual instance of a recurring meeting series. The error message displayed was:
"Attendance info isn't available yet. Check again later."
Additional concerns included:
- The back button within the interface was unresponsive.
- CSV downloads only reflected attendance for the entire meeting series, not individual sessions.
- You were the meeting organizer and using Microsoft Edge.
Assessment:
Attendance reports are generally available shortly after a meeting concludes but may not be retained indefinitely.
For recurring meetings, CSV exports typically summarize the entire series rather than individual occurrences.
If the meeting chat was deleted or the organizer left the organization, reports may become inaccessible.
In the new Teams experience, clearing cache is no longer applicable. Instead, using “Quit Teams” and reopening is the recommended workaround.
Resolution:
As of your latest update, the reports became accessible again without any direct action. It’s possible that your organization’s IT team resolved the issue behind the scenes. You also explored several troubleshooting steps:
- Restarting Teams via “Quit Teams”
- Restarting your laptop
- Considering uninstalling and reinstalling Teams (though not attempted)
